Since July 2025, KARL JÜRGENSEN has been using CARGOMETER‘s dynamic cargo measurement system at its Schleswig location.

Initial Situation

To make processes even more efficient, KARL JÜRGENSEN sought a solution that would automatically measure weight and volume in real time – directly within the process, without any additional effort. The goal was to combine the highest precision with maximum efficiency while reducing the workload on employees during daily operations.

The solution: CARGOMETER Dimension-in-Motion and Weigh-in-Motion
Since July 2025, all incoming goods at the Schleswig facility have been tracked using CARGOMETER’s Dimension-in-Motion and Weigh-in-Motion systems:

  • Dimension-in-Motion: automatically measures length, width, height, and volume during the ongoing process
  • Weigh-in-Motion: records weight without stopping

The system integrates seamlessly into the handling process and provides precise real-time data – without interrupting employees’ work.

Initial Results

The success is already clearly evident after just a few months:
The automated recording of weight and volume during operations increases transparency when discrepancies arise, improves planning reliability, and noticeably reduces the operational workload.
